Corrosion Resistant Enclosures for Instrumentation Packaging

Fibox announces its new Cardmaster 3 enclosure family, ideal for instrumentation packaging, including measurement, monitoring, and process control equipment. Cardmaster enclosures, available in corrosion resistant polycarbonate (PC) or ABS plastic, offer a maximum NEMA 4X rating and an IP65 rating. PC units are available UL listed. Enclosure options include a UV resistant, hinged, smoked gray transparent cover with an easy open / easy close, quick release thumb latch and a terminal compartment with knock outs to accommodate wiring from both below and the back of the enclosure. Customization, including holes, cutouts, finish color, and assembly is available on all Cardmaster enclosures.

Cardmaster 3 enclosures feature two separate compartments, one for circuit boards and sensors and includes built-in card guide slots, and another for terminals and wiring. Choose from 8 PC models and 8 ABS models. Size selections include enclosures with outside dimensions from (H x W) 6.5 in. x 6.3 in. (166 mm x 160 mm) to 14.3 in. x 12.4 in. (363 mm x 316 mm), depth from 4.0 in. (80 mm) to 6.4 in. (162 mm). Three PC enclosure sizes offer built-in, cable entry knockouts.

Several models offer three wall-mounting alternatives. A full range of accessories includes front plates, back panels, covers, wall mounting lugs, hinges & latches, DIN rail support, and more.
