We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. If you have a passion for providing industry solutions and interfacing between customers, inside sales and operations this is the role for you. This full-time position in our Glen Burnie location is best suited for an energetic, analytical, motivated and dedicated customer focused professional with 2 or more years of relevant experience, computer skills, software certification, and administration training or a relevant college degree.

Your work day would include assisting customers with product selection, creating quotations, processing orders, adding information to the database while working with the inside and outside sales team.

Requirements

Manufacturing company located in Anne Arundel County is seeking a customer service representative. The successful candidate will provide customer service and insides sales support as well as order entry, quotations, confirmations, client database maintenance, etc. This position requires strict attention to detail, a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills. 

Major Areas of Responsibility:

  • Gain necessary product and industry knowledge to assist customers in identifying their product needs
  • Build and improve customer relationships through personal interactions
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt sales and service support for customers
  • Coordinate efforts and act as a liaison between customers and the company to achieve effective delivery of our company’s products and services
  • Follow all defined procedures and work instructions in order to properly process customers’ quotes and orders
