GLEN BURNIE, Md. — 8/26/2026 — Fibox Enclosures has introduced new transparent cover options for its ARCA-IEC polycarbonate enclosure series, allowing operators and maintenance personnel to inspect displays, HMIs, LED indicators, and other internal components without opening the enclosure.
As automation and monitoring systems become increasingly sophisticated, operators need immediate access to system information without exposing protected components or personnel to unnecessary risk. The new ARCA-IEC Transparent Series provides clear visibility into the enclosure while maintaining the environmental protection required for demanding industrial applications.
Unlike conventional enclosure windows that require a cutout and separately installed viewing panel, the ARCA-IEC transparent cover is molded as a single, seamless polycarbonate component. This integrated construction improves impact resistance and watertightness while eliminating the additional labor and potential failure points associated with installing a separate window.
The smoked transparent polycarbonate material provides long-term outdoor durability by helping protect the cover from UV exposure, yellowing, and clouding. The enclosures are UL/cUL listed for NEMA Types 1, 4, 4X, 12, and 13, with IP66 ingress protection and IK10 impact resistance.
